Registered Dietitian

Part Time – Temporary Registered Dietitian

Pay: CA$39.48-CA$52.50 per hour

Job description:

This primary care position involves outpatient chronic disease management in a multi-disciplinary team setting. The position will begin February 1, 2026 and will continue for 12 – 18 months.

Position Summary:

As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, the incumbent will work with patients who have been referred for, but not limited to; diabetes, heart health, weight management and GI conditions in a variety of settings (individual, group and families). Resource, program development and implementation will occur as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition accredited by the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).
• Registered with (or eligible to be registered with) the CDA.
• Certified Diabetes Educator would be considered an asset.
• Two years’ experience in chronic disease management in a primary care setting will be considered an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, assessment, and decision-making skills.
